For their 2025 Annual Fall Forum, LDS Earth Stewardship wanted to explore the idea of the ecological and spiritual connections we have with God, nature, and our fellow humanity.

For this, they wanted an interactive activity that would encourage thinking about these kinds of connections, as well as encourage the attendees to make in-person connections with one another.

Inseparably Connected is an interactive installation based on the idea of an ecosystem’s food web. Guests were invited to take a selfie with an instant camera, and choose one of two challenges that involved creating a chain of connections between ecological elements on a globe and each other, using yarn.
